APM-200
The next generation of the Electric Motor
The APM200 has been designed specifically to meet the requirements of a high-performance traction motor. Its unique spoke architecture enables the rotor to be liquid cooled increasing the motors continuous power output capability. The motor has a maximum speed of 10,000 rpm and incorporates an integral 5.5 :1 epicyclic gearbox which means that the output shaft of the gearbox can be connected directly to the wheel hub. The motor has a peak power of 220kW, and a peak torque of 450Nm.

Engineered and manufactured in the UK, the HPI-800 inverter boasts high power density. Featuring Wolfspeed/CREE SiC modules, the HPI-800 inverter is capable of switching frequencies at up to 40 kHz.

Engineered and manufactured in the UK, the HPI-450 inverter boasts high power density of up to 20 kW/kg. Featuring Semikron IGBT modules, the HPI-450 inverter is capable of switching frequencies at up to 20 kHz.

The ZED has an impressive specification, battery options of up to 648kWh, and a range of 150 – 200 miles per day, a peak torque of 3,500Nm and peak power of 400kW. ZED meets the latest Transport for London (TfL) specifications and requirements for 2024.
